1949 Merc

This beautiful Merc has been married with the suspension, drive train, and interior from a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII. We began with an all original 1949 frame and body. After carefully dismantling the donor stolen recovery car the fun began. The owner wanted all of the functions of the Mark VIII to operate so this involved many hours of wiring and fabrication. In the end everything works like it should, and some even better then before. There is a functional keyless entry system, 3 selectable automatic ride heights, the system monitors are all working properly, memory power seats, 10 disc JBL Audio system, automatic climate control, compass, and automatic headlights. We have installed a 2 step program to the stock computer, so the 32valve DOHC engine really makes this car have power to match it's beauty.
